President, CEO and Director – Jeffrey Reeder
Jeffrey Reeder, P. Geo., has a B.Sc. from the University of Alberta and since 1992 has been registered as a professional geologist with the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of British Columbia. Mr. Reeder was the founding shareholder of Rio Silver Exploration and is the CEO for Duran Ventures.. Mr. Reeder is the geologist that originally identified and acquired the Aguila copper-moly project in Peru for MacMillan Gold Corp. (now a wholly-owned subsidiary of Duran Ventures) and is also responsible for identifying the Pinaya Copper-Gold project currently being explored by Kaizen Discovery Inc. Mr. Reeder has over 20 years of experience in Peru and is fluent in Spanish. Mr. Reeder's experiences prior to working in Peru were with Noranda Exploration and the Hunter-Dickenson Group of Companies.
Chief Financial Officer – Daniel Hamilton, CPA CA
Mr. Hamilton has a Bachelor of Commerce and a Bachelor of Administration from the University of Ottawa. He brings over 25 years of post-qualification experience in senior accounting and financial roles. Mr. Hamilton is the CFO for Duran Ventures Inc.. He previously served as Chief Financial Officer of Crystallex International Corporation and his experience includes Vice President, Controller for Amec Americas (a multi-national engineering and project management services firm) and Group Controller, Zinc at Noranda.
Vice President of Exploration – Ryan Grywul
Mr. Grywul is a Professional Geologist with more than 11 years experience in mineral exploration, which includes managing projects ranging from grass roots to advanced exploration. He has experience in generating projects in Canada and internationally, and is fluent in Spanish. His experience with public and private companies includes Amerix Precious Metals Corpoation, Taseko Mines, AM Gold, Duran Ventures and Commerce Resources.
Executive Chairman - Steve Brunelle
Mr. Brunelle is a graduate of Queen’s University with over 30 years of exploration and management experience of Canadian and international exploration projects. Mr. Brunelle was an Officer and Director of Corner Bay Silver Inc. and played an integral part in the discovery and assessment of the Alamo Dorado silver-gold project in Sonora, Mexico. Corner Bay Silver (TSX) was merged with Pan American Silver Corp. in 2003. Mr. Brunelle was a founder, Officer and Director of Stingray Copper Inc. that took the El Pilar Copper Property, Sonora to Feasibility after which the company was acquired by Mercator Minerals Ltd. in a plan of arrangement in December 2009. Mr. Brunelle is currently a Director of Duran Ventures Inc., Klondike Gold Corp. and Eagle Graphite Inc.
Director - Edward J. Badida
Mr. Badida is a Chartered Accountant with over 40 years of financial management and corporate governance experience. Mr. Badida formerly acted as the CFO of Rio Silver. Mr. Badida has served as CFO and/or has been a board member of several companies listed on either the TSX or TSX-V over the past 30 years. Mr. Badida has also held management positions with accounting firms PricewaterhouseCoopers and KPMG.
Director - Richard Mazur
Mr. Mazur is the cofounder and past Managing Director of RLG International Inc., a Performance Improvement consulting firm located today in over 30 countries. Since 1984 Mr. Mazur, in his leadership role, built the company to over 300 employees with revenue of $100M. He has retired from full-time operations at RLG and currently serves as the Board Chairman. Mr. Mazur has held past Board positions in the Oil & Gas and non-profit sectors and has chaired the compensation, strategic planning and governance committees. He has an MBA from the Richard Ivey School of Business.
